Curation in Igor Sikorsky KPI is one of the forms of participation of scientific and teaching staff of the university in educational work with students. Curation is designed to provide students with comprehensive assistance in adapting to new learning conditions, raising the level of their social consciousness, increasing interest in acquiring knowledge, professional and scientific work, etc.
As stated in the document “Temporary Regulations ON THE ORGANIZATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS in Igor Sikorsky KPI”:
“The curator of the study group can be a pedagogue researcher who enjoys authority, is distinguished by high moral qualities, has remarkable pedagogical skills and organizational skills and can provide a positive educational impact on students.
The procedure for appointment, organization of work, forms of reporting of the curator, as well as his additional responsibilities and rights are determined by the Regulations on the curator in Igor Sikorsky KPI, approved by order of the rector.”
