The subject of study of the discipline is regulatory, technical, design and technological documentation that defines the requirements for design of electromechanical systems based on DC and AC motor drives. Considerable attention is paid to the means of creating design documentation, in particular the use of applied system-oriented software packages.
A project is a prerequisite for the production of any part, system or object. The discipline prepares students to develop such projects. Systematic knowledge of project development is also necessary for the preparation and design of design documentation for the diploma project of the educational qualification level of bachelor and master’s dissertation.
