Conference in Kyrgyzstan and department of AEMS-ED
Conference in Kyrgyzstan was held from 01.04.2019 to 05.04.2019 in Bishkek (capital of Kyrgyzstan), on the basis of the German-Kyrgyz Technical Institute of the Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University.
Seminar and an international student conference “German Language and Technology”, which was attended by students from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Germany and Ukraine. NTUU “Kiev Polytechnic Institute named after Igor Sikorsky” was presented by DAAD lecturer Anna Lange and professor of the AEMS-ED department Olga Tolochko and two students of the Joint Ukrainian-German faculty Alexey Kutuzov and Vadim Petrushey.
The invited participants got acquainted with the German Faculty of the Razzakov University and its students.
Prof. O.I. Tolochko presented to the students and teachers of Kyrgyz University some information about the Faculty of Electric power engineering and Automatics and the AEMS-EP department. She also conducted two 1.5-hour German language classes on “MATLAB and Simulink in Engineering Practice” with the participants of the seminar, and made a presentation about scientific paper “Energy efficiency control of an explicit pole synchronous motor with permanent magnets”. For this, she was marked by appropriate certificates of DAAD. The report was attended by university rector, German ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, representatives of DAAD and press representatives.
On april 4, student international conference was held. At the end of event, the jury chose the winners by the next criteria: poster, the report, the topic and the answers to the questions of audience. The first place was awarded by Natalia Shilkovskii, a student of the Berlin School of Engineering, who spoke about the autonomous robot project, which was carried out as part of her training in the dual system; the second and third places were taken by students of NTUU “Igor Sikorsky KPI”.
