ХIII SPEA conference
On November 28, 2019, the XIII Conference of SPEA 2019 “Modern Problems of Electrical Engineering and Automation” was held.
The section “Automation of Electromechanical Systems and Electric Drive” more than 5 works were presented.
Meeting of students and faculty staff of the department is a traditional event aimed at improving students’ awareness of the material, broadening their horizons, identifying the best students, rewarding students and young scientists for good scientific and practical achievements.
The presented works are related to the construction of the layout of an industrial crane, control of interiour permanent magnet synchronous motors (IPMSM), control of pumping installations using neural networks and control of a magnetic suspension for levitation.
Two works were presented by students from abroad via Skype.
The work “Identification of Electrical Parameters of a Interiour Permanent Magnets Synchronous Motor” was presented by D. Rodkin (6th-year master-student) and O. Zinchenko (5th-year master-student). Scientific advisor – Sc.D. prof. S. Peresada. The work was presented from the University of Warwick, England, School of Engineering.
The work of K. Benyashevskaya and V. Borsch (5th year master-students) “Creation and research of the electric vehicle motion emulation system” was presented from the department of Information Technology, Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics of the University of Applied Sciences of Mittelhessen, Friedberg, Germany (THM). Head – Ph.D. prof. S. Kovbasa.
The following are photos from the conference.
The jury of the section “Automation of Electromechanical Systems and Electric Drive” noted the best report by H. Zemlyanukhina. “Management of pumping complexes based on neural networks”.
The best report from event XIII SPEA conference was presented at the plenary session of the conference on December 12, 2019. Conference abstracts will be published later on the link. Photographs from the faculty plenary session are given below.
