Workshop in Warwick, England
The workshop on was held at the University of Warwick, Coventry, UK, School of Engineering. Students and graduate students of our department took part in the proceeding of scientific workshop.
The workshop-conference was as part of the Erasmus cooperation program between Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Automation, I. Sikorsky KPI and the School of Engineering, University of Warwick.
The main topics of the workshop were control of electromechanical systems, power electronics, renewable energy, as well as engineering of disease diagnosis.
The topics of the workshop also touched upon organizational issues regarding ways of expanding the educational work of both universities and ways to increase the technological impact of science and scholars on society, country, world.
The moderators of the conference-workshop were a graduate of the AEMS-ED department prof. O.I. Kiselychnyk and coordinator of the mobility department of the University of Warwick, prof. Vishwesh Kulkarni.
Two reports were made by the Department of Automation of Electromechanical Systems and Electric Drives.
- The work of the graduate student Y. Nikonenko “Comparison of battery and hybrid energy storage system for electric vehicles”. Scientific adviser – Sc.D. prof. S. Peresada (report was conducted remotely).
- Work done by students Rodkin D. and Zinchenko O. “Determination of parameters of explosion-proof synchronous motors with permanent magnets”. Scientific supervisors – Sc.D. prof. S.M. Peresada (I. Sikorsky KPI) and prof. O.I. Kiselychnyk (University of Warwick) (report was made at the University of Warwick).
According to the results of the workshop, the publication of abstracts is planned. Reports from the School of Engineering faculty were also presented.
