Asymmetric Reference Trajectories for Energy Efficiency Position Electric Drives 10th International Conference on Electrical Power Drive Systems, ICEPDS

Asymmetric reference trajectories for acceleration, speed and position were synthesized so that the current heat losses proportional to the motor dynamic torque are minimal and taking into account speed and acceleration constraints. A real-time motion profile implementation option was suggested. The correctness of analytical expressions for optimal trajectories calculation was verified using mathematical simulation and experimental study.
