Serhii Burian, PhD, Associate Professor, Deputy Head of the Departments of Methodological Work, Laureate of the Presidential Prize of Ukraine for Young Scientists in 2015. He was born on April 28, 1985. He graduated from the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” in 2008, received a master’s degree with honors. From 2006 to 2008 he worked at the Department of Automation of Electromechanical Systems and Electric Drive as an engineer, from 2008 he worked as an assistant, from 2013 as a senior lecturer, from 2014 until now as an associate professor. In 2013 he defended his PhD thesis on “Extreme energy-efficient electromechanical automation systems for multi-unit pumping units”, in 2015 he received the title of associate professor. He has more than 100 scientific publications and methodical works.
