S. Bozhko and S. Peresada discussed aircraft problems to become more smart concerning electric power systems. The More-Electric Aircraft:
1. Rationalization of onboard non-propulsive power.
2. Conventional devices are replaced by electrical systems;
3. Ease of electric power generation and transmission;
4. Advances in power electronics systems;
5. Great level of Availability and Maintainability – low operational costs.
6. Controllability – power on demand.
7. Green energy.
