Serhiy Mykolayovych Kovbasa is doing an internship abroad in Friedberg, Hesse, Germany. Associate Professor of the Department of Automation of Electromechanical Systems and Electric Drives Kovbas S. M. was at the University of Applied Sciences in Germany THM (Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen University of Applied Sciences).

While at this university, he conducted research work in cooperation with the university staff on the latest methods of vector control of an asynchronous electric drive.

Also, together with their employees, he learned several technical solutions for programming microprocessors, which later became the basis for the implementation of full-fledged working control controllers for power applications, such as for the electric drive of a tram, etc.
