Analysis of the Energy Efficiency of Pressure Stabilization Cascade Pump System

The character of change of the efficiency and power losses in pump systems under the conditions of stabilization of the rated pressure with the use of efficiency observers based on neural networks are investigated. Typical variants of construction of water supply systems and technological cycles are considered, which include a single pump system and a cascade scheme with two parallel-connected pumps, the total capacity of which corresponds to the capacity of a single-pump system. The investigation considered the likely character of changes in water consumption within the daily cycle for both systems. The results and analysis of studies of the level of energy losses in electromechanical pumping systems are presented.
